    Private Banker

Develop the credit expertise needed to serve high-net-worth clients with confidence.

The Learning Path for a Private Banker is designed in two connected parts that build the full credit toolkit needed to serve high-net-worth clients end-to-end: underwriting complex individual borrowers, financing their commercial real estate (CRE) investments, and extending credit to the professional service firms they often own or influence.

The Primary Learning Path develops the core credit judgment required to underwrite high-net-worth individuals and to structure and monitor loans tied to their CRE holdings. You'll sharpen your ability to translate borrower and property performance into a clear credit narrative—identifying primary and secondary repayment sources, validating assumptions, and using documentation and covenants to protect performance over the life of the loan.

The Secondary Learning Path extends that foundation into commercial credit for professional service corporations, where repayment capacity is frequently driven by cash flow proxies, tax return dynamics, and entity structures that demand disciplined analysis. This path builds confidence in moving between accrual statements and tax returns, assessing true debt capacity, and constructing defensible cash flow conclusions.
